Best Friends Club - Fort Worth, TX

 

A Halloween costume contest will be part of the festivities at Best Frends Club in Fort Worth, Texas Oct. 31.

 

The event takes places at midnight at 2620 E. Lancaster Avenue (817-534-2280).

Also on Halloween, the Spiral Diner in town will have their sometimes annual Zombie Prom from 8 p.m. to midnight where they will have a raffle drawing to benefit Operation Kindness, Great Plains Restoration Council, and Serenity Springs. A hundred percent of the money raised from the raffle will be going directly to the organizations. Prizes include restaurant certificates, t-shirts, Vegan Essentials gift certificates, Rave movie passes, Angelika movie tickets, and many more.

Tickets are $2 and you can purchase them at the Fort Worth or Dallas Spiral Diners located at 1314 W. Magnolia and 1101 N. Beckley respectively.

Buddies II will have a Halloween show Oct. 31 and a costume contest where you can win cool cash for scariest, most original, or best group/couple. Winners will be awarded at 11 p.m., 12 a.m., and 1 a.m. The lesbian club is located at 4025 Maple Avenue in Dallas in the Oak Lawn area and the phone number is 214-526-0887. There is free parking.

On Nov. 9 “Canines, Cats & Cabernet,” the annual Operation Kindness fundraiser will be held. The 16th annual wine tasting and auction happens from 3-6 p.m. and you can register before Nov. 4 and save $10 at operationkindness.org. Operation Kindness is a no-kill animal shelter located in Carrollton, TX.
